Inquiry & Building a finding out culture in your setting (Prof Barry Carpenter)
In this session Barry will set the scene for our day against a backdrop of rising complexity of need and significantly increased numbers of students with SEND in our mainstream settings. Barry will share ways in which we can develop a ‘finding out culture’ to be agile and responsive to the needs of students presenting in ways which we have never seen before.
Changing Children (Diane Rochford & Alistair Crawford)
Diane & Alistair discuss ways in which schools can develop meaningful and aspirational pathways for learners that support progress in all aspects of school life whilst adhering to the accountability frameworks in which we all work in e.g. Ofsted.

In this session James, Cheryl & Sophie share practical case studies of how schools across a Trust and Local Authority have worked together to build capacity, expertise and confidence around SEND and Inclusion at scale.
