Teaching Internship Programmes
Our Teaching Internship Programmes are commencing in Summer 2026 at primary and secondary schools across the East Midlands.
Primary Internship
Gain experience in a primary school setting, support pupils, shadow experienced teachers and learn more about teaching as a career.
Secondary Internship
Work with current trainees, teachers and leaders in secondary settings. Explore subject teaching in Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Computing, MFL or D&T.
We are offering a 3-week placement from June to July 2027 for those interested in teaching Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Computing, MFL, D&T or Primary.
Routes Into Teaching

School-Centred ITT
Train in schools from day one, gaining practical classroom experience alongside expert mentoring and support.
University-Led PGCE
Combine university study with school placements to gain Qualified Teacher Status and a postgraduate qualification.

Earn while you learn through an apprenticeship route, combining employment with teacher training.
Assessment Only Route
For experienced unqualified teachers who can demonstrate they already meet the Teachers’ Standards.
